Why should we encourage our Veterans to use the NHS app?

This is a really positive step for helping veterans manage their healthcare more efficiently. Having direct access to test results and health records can:

1. Reduce waiting times for information

2. Give veterans more control over their healthcare

3. Help them share relevant information with different healthcare providers

4. Avoid frustrating phone calls and delays

"I did mine today and the process is easy and within minutes I had access to all my correspondence, test results, current and past medication and prescription ordering, etc."

Also, given that some veterans might be less comfortable with technology, we can help them to help them set up their access.

We have now added a question about this in our referral process as we have encountered many veterans who have been struggling with accessing their local NHS services.
